Student Success Statement
“When an archer misses the mark, he turns and looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bulls-eye is never the fault of the target. To improve your aim, improve yourself.”
Gilbert Arland
What Gilbert Arland is trying to say is that if you don’t try enough to reach your goal you will have to try again until you succeed. For example, if you have a basketball and try to shoot at the hoop and you miss it won’t be the ball’s fault or the hoops. That is why you have to have hope in yourself and do something in life because if you don’t have hope you will probably always be a negative thinker.
