Student Success Statement
“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.  Genius will not; the world is full of educate derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
-Calvin Coolidge, 30th president of the United States
What I think about this statement is that anywhere or anybody can have persistence. It doesn’t matter who you are. Having talent will not mean that you’re living an unsuccessful life. You will not be named as a genius if you’re well educated. It all matters who you are and if you have dreams and hopes in your life because you’re not supposed to judge someone that you don’t know and say they don’t have dreams because what if they do? It depends. Many other people are racist too and it means that they can probably not like the person and it isn’t about all about that. You have to choose the right & worry about yourself and what you want to do in the future and just live life without any worries about anyone or anything.
